Hello August!!  I am annoyed that the months are speeding past, and I seem to be having less time to play and have fun with makeup.  All is not lost though, with Chanel’s latest collection of makeup specially designed for free expression, we can all enjoy makeup artistry in our daily lives! Chanel Ombre Premiere Collection is a permanent range of makeup to dress up the eyes.  Instead of pre-decided quads, there is an extensive range of eyeshadows in 2 different textures that you can layer and mix-and-match at will.  There are 24 amazing colors, from easy-to-wear neutrals to bold statement colors, in a variety of sumptuous matte, satin and metallic finishes. Chanel Ombre Premiere Longwear Cream Eyeshadow comes in the familiar round glass jar with black screwcap emblazoned with a golden double C logo.  It is distinctly different from the older classic Illusion d’Ombre as it lacks shimmer, but is really quite close to the recent velvety ones such as this and this. Just like that, we are in the month of October!  The past 2 weeks have been all kind of hectic, and most nights were spent in flying across different cities or at work functions.  The few scarce nights of solitude, I was completely knocked out by the time I stepped out of the shower.  And now that we are officially planning our party looks for the upcoming holiday season, I am trying my best to get these reviews out as quick as I can!  I had started my coverage on the hot new Marc Jacobs Eye-conic Collection last week [here], and will be showing you 2 other palettes that I love very much today – Provocouture & Frivolous!
